Make sure you know what citation format your professor requires.  

The APA, Chicago, CSE, MLA style guides are available in the library in the Ready Reference section located on the first floor of the library behind the the information desk. 

The Purdue Online Writing Lab (OWL) is a research and citation guide. It will connect you with a broad set of tools that can help you learn how to conduct academic research and write in academic styles as well as how to use multiple citation formats. 

The How to Cite Sources in Your Research Paper guide has an overview of a variety of citation styles.
